My 30 (or more!) days challenges

Day 18 – Extreme

It’s not that easy to come up with ideas for an extreme makeup after you’ve done the black and colourful ones. At least, I don’t want it to resemble either of them even distantly. So I’m not going to use too many colours today, but I’ll make sure they are as unmatchable as possible.

???????????????????????????????

No foundation at all today, only powder. After all, one good thing about a makeup of this kind is that there cannot be any rules about how you should look, so whatever you do can be perfectly justified.

Some bright green eyeshadow will be used for most of the eye makeup – and it’s applied all over the eye area, pretty much everywhere. I apply loads of it, making sure the colour is very bright.

A darker, grass-green eyeshadow is then used for the upper eyelid only.

With an eyeliner, I draw a very long line above the eyelashes, with a flick that nearly touches the edge of the brow.

To finish with the eyes I underline the eye rim with a pencil.

Now it’s time to do the lips. Obviously, they’ve got to be bright red! And, even though the rule for an extreme makeup is having no rules, and I can’t really say that a lip liner is absolutely required, I still feel I should use it, to avoid the extreme makeup turning into a messy makeup!

???????????????????????????????

And finally, here comes the lip colour itself. It’s scarlet red – generally a very beautiful colour, which, however, is totally inappropriate with such an eye makeup. Exactly what I need!

??????????????????????????????? ???????????????????????????????

So here’s the look. I can’t really make any serious comments on it, or assess whether it’s good or bad. What I’m absolutely certain about, though, is that it does look really extreme!
