Day 20 – Brights

ruflag

Ok, I’ve already done a colourful makeup and an extreme one, so how is this one supposed to be different? I’ll try to be creative here, of course, but there have really been a few makeups that could easily fall under the brights category.

???????????????????????????????

After applying the under base and some CC cream on the skin I also apply some bronzer. After all, bright makeup can look alright on a tanned skin, but will definitely look ridiculous on a pale one.

A little bit of pink blush is used for the cheeks.

Now the eyes. I use some silvery white eyeshadow for the under-brow area and even apply a bit above the brow. By the way, the whole eye makeup will be done using damp brushes for increased brightness of the colours.

I then apply some shimmering bright blue eyeshadow above the crease line, making sure that the upper border of the colour is parallel to the eyebrow (I guess, one can call curved lines parallel?), and also on the outer half of the lower eyelid.

Next I apply a shimmering bright green colour on most of the upper eyelid. The border of the colour is a sharp tilted line across the eyelid.

And the last eyeshadow is this bright golden yellow one. It is applied to the rest of the upper and the lower eyelids.

A bright pink colour is used for the lips, and some liquid gloss is added for extra shimmer.

And there I am! I deliberately closed my eyes in the picture, so that the eyeshadow pattern is visible. It was not the most complex makeup, and surprisingly it’s not too bad, although not quite my favourite.
